In the European Sustainable Energy Week,
Seyit KAPLAN attended the seminar "Using BIM
Technology for the Energy and Sustainability"
as a panelist in Kartal Municipal.
In the second part of the BIM seminar,
which was carried out by Autodesk, the details of
the Building Information Modeling (BIM) and coordination with BIM,
the BIM experience of different disciplines was mentioned.
Seyit Kaplan participated as a speaker at the 12th National HVAC Engineering Congress, held between April 8–11, 2014. During the event, he presented his academic paper on the advantages of applying the Building Information Modeling (BIM) approach in the design and coordination of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) projects, sharing his insights with industry professionals.

In the seminar, the leading names of architecture,
engineering and construction industry met .
The seminars organized by Autodesk for the use of BIM,
which enables the design, construction and pre-construction
stages of a building to be performed in the most accurate manner,
took place at Izmir Swissotel.
Seyit Kaplan stated that he got the chance to
see and solve the problems that could occur on the
construction site with the BIM understanding. He also
said this methodology supplies oportunity the designers
to make quick revision and to see all the dimensions of the structure.
